about

The dreams are all improvisations, usually recorded in two passes. But in this instance it’s just the one. I can probably play the guitar better than I can play anything else, or at least I’ve spent the most time at it. I like playing a lot of different instruments badly rather than trying to play one thing reasonably well. I used to practice guitar scales and had nice legato technique, but these days I just kind of whack it. Den deke deke deke! Or as the song says: ‘Close enough for rock ’n’ roll’.
