Usually when I make music I have some goal in mind. But sometimes things just happen; I might be playing around with an instrument, or some new software, and come up with something that appeals to me enough to want to record. Sometimes I have an idea that is self-contained, that really doesn’t belong with anything else. That’s the sort of album this is, a collection of bits and pieces that I was happy with but which didn’t really belong anywhere. A dog’s breakfast…

僕が作曲する時には、大体頭の中で何らかの目標や目的がある。でも時には、ポンっと出てくる事もある。楽器や新しいソフトウェアをいじってる時に、録音したいって思う程惹きつけられるフレーズを思いついたりするんだ。時に関連もないアイデアが浮かんだりする。このアルバムはまさにそんな感じで、素敵なアイデアたちのコレクションなんだ。言うなれば、"Dog's Breakfast" (しっちゃかめっちゃか)・・・って感じかな笑
